Training Hub contract extended to March 2027

6 August 2025

Coventry and Warwickshire Training Hub’s NHS England contract has been extended to March 2027.

This continuation ensures our Training Hub will continue its work to attract, support, develop and retain staff across general practice, through a combination of training, wellbeing support, professional development and recognition.

The contract extension reflects the confidence in training hubs as a vehicle to support the primary care workforce alongside national and local strategy. It comes at a time of great change within the NHS, with the launch of the new NHS 10 Year Health Plan. Our leadership team will work with NHS England, Coventry & Warwickshire ICB and system partners to identify and agree priorities for 2026-2027, mindful of this rapidly changing landscape.

Jon Moll, Chief Officer, CW Training Hub said: “This contract extension reflects the great programmes our team has delivered to date and I thank our whole team for their continued hard work. It also recognises the wider value of training hubs in strengthening the whole general practice workforce and supporting our people at every stage of their career.”

Coventry and Warwickshire Training Hub is hosted by IPC and works closely with IPC Board and partner organisations to develop and enhance primary care.
